Byrd transitioned to a Falcon from a Bear

The Atlanta Falcons have acquired WR Damiere Byrd on a one-year contract. This is one of many moves that the Falcons have done this offseason. They First released their long time QB, Matt Ryan in March. Within hours they signed Marcus Mariota to a Two-Year $18.75M deal. Signing Byrd will be a big help since they are without Calvin Ridley as he has been suspended indefinitely through at least the 2022 season for betting on NFL games during the 2021 season. Will the Falcons be able to get past the major off season that they have had so far?
